Summary

Prof Ruparelia is a Consultant Cardiologist with specialist expertise in the management of all aspects of cardiac disease and cardiovascular risk modification. He has a sub-specialist interest in complex coronary artery angioplasty (PCI) and structural heart intervention including TAVI, PFO / ASD closure, Left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)and paravalvular leak closure.

He qualified from University College, London and was awarded his DPhil (PhD) at Balliol College, Oxford. After completing specialist clinical fellowships in Oxford, London, Milan and Boston, USAhe was appointed a Consultant at The Royal Berkshire Hospital and The Hammersmith Hospital, London. His clinicalpractice spans both Berkshire and London.
