Dr. Punit Ramrakha is a consultant cardiologist with over 20 years of experience, graduating from Cambridge and Oxford Universities with 1st class honours. After an award winning PhD in Vascular Biology at Imperial College, he was appointed as a Consultant at Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust and Imperial College (Hammersmith Hospital). His clinical practice spans Buckinghamshire and London.

In 2020, Dr. Ramrakha co-founded the London Heart Practice to provide excellence in cardiac care even in the time of coronavirus pandemic. He is also well established in the scientific research community, authoring a number of medical textbooks such as the Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine, Oxford Handbook of Acute Medicine and Oxford Handbook of Cardiology.
